Lunch Box Cake

1 box chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 (1 lb.) can fruit cocktail, undrained
1/2 cup semi-sweet pieces
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch cake pan.
Combine all ingredients except chocolate and nuts in large mixer bowl.
Blend well at lowest speed.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
