Jalapeno Corn Bread (bread machine) alt.bread.recipes/Skypilot Makes 1-pound loaf
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F) 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 1 1/3 cups bread flour 1/2 cup corn meal 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed 3 to 4 teaspoons chopped jalapeno peppers
Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Add the peppers and whole kernel corn during the raisin mode if your bread machine has one. Select basic bread setting. Start.
