Bread Crumb Pancakes: Serves 6 (Delicate & delicious pancakes that taste very like French toast. You must use "fresh" bread crumbs.)
1 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs 2 c. buttermilk or sour milk 1 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1/4 c. hot water
Combine first 5 ingredients & mix well. Add baking soda & water just before frying pancakes.
