Easy Rice Pudding (using pudding mix) (microwave)

2 1/2 cups milk
1 package (4-serving size) vanilla pudding mix
1/2 cup quick cooking rice (Minute Rice)
1/3 cup raisins (optional)

In a 4 cup glass measuring cup combine all ingredients, microwave on high 6 minutes stirring occasionally. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand until mixture thickens. Serve cold or reheat at serving time.
