3-4 apples
For Batter: 1 egg, 1/2 cup water, 1 cup flour oil for deep frying
For Glazing Syrup 4 tbsp. Sugar 1 tbsp . honey 4 tbsp peanut oil
Core apples, cut each in to 8 pieces. Mix batter ingredients till smooth, dip aple into batter, divide into 3 lots and deep fry each lot for 21/2 mins. Drain on paper towels.
Heat peanut oil in a saucepan; add the sugar and honey. Stir gently until ingredients have formed nto a thick consistant syrup, dip the apples in the syrup, pull them out quickly and dip into a large bowl of iced water.
This can also be done with other fruit.
