EAT 'EM FOR BREAKFAST OATMEAL COOKIES
1 cup butter, softened 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 3 cups quick or old-fashioned style rolled oats, uncooked 1 cup raisins
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat butter and both sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt; add to butter/sugar mixture; mix thoroughly. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet (I line with aluminum file to save cleanup :-).
