In an 8-ounce coffee mug, mix the following:

4 ounces (1/2 cup) hot coffee OR
1/2 cup hot water and 2 teaspoons instant coffee
2 teaspoons sugar
2 tablespoons Irish Creme Liqueur
1 ounce ( 2 tablespoons) bourbon or Irish whiskey

Serve immediately. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
