Brown Sugar Glaze for Ham
rec.food.recipes/Bill Wight (2001)
Yield: 3/4 cup

A glaze for ham contains some form of sugar that melts and caramelizes as the ham bakes. Because the glaze has sugar, it will burn and turn black if it gets too hot. So put on the glaze in the last 15-30 minutes of cooking.

1 cup brown sugar -- packed
1/2 teaspoon mustard -- powdered
1 tablespoon vinegar

Mix together ingredients.
