Grilled Onion Slices rec.food.cooking/wrdaniel (1995)
I like to use sweet red onions on the grill. I make 1/2-inch thick slices and toothpick them together if the rings tend to be loose. I pour balsamic vinegar over the slices and marinate both sides for a few minutes. Pop on the grill for the right amount of time :-) You will know when they are done.
