Cookie Icing Tip

I learned a tip from a friend who works in bakery - when making the usual simple powdered sugar and milk and flavoring icing, replace part of the liquid with corn syrup. I have done this for many years now and it works great! I usually do the liquid 1/2 milk and 1/2 corn syrup. It takes a little while to set up and dry, but once dry the cookies can be stacked together without sticking!
