Recipe: Mexican Coffee/Ornaments/Brie in Sourdough/Punch

Ingredients:
3/4 cup (206.25 ml) ground dark roast coffee (regular or
decaffeinated)
2 teaspoons (10 gr) McCormick Ground Cinnamon
6 cups (1650 ml) water
1 cup (275 ml) milk
1/3 cup (90.75 ml) chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons (30 gr) light brown sugar
1 teaspoon (5 gr) McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract
Garnish: Whipped Cream and McCormick Ground
Cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Place coffee and Cinnamon in filter basket of coffeemaker. Add water to coffeemaker
and brew as directed.
2. In a saucepan, blend milk, chocolate syrup, and sugar. Stir over low heat, until sugar
dissolves.
3. Combine milk mixture and brewed coffee; stir in Vanilla. Garnish with whipped cream
and cinnamon.
Quantity:
CINNAMON ORNAMENTS
No baking and simple for kids! Mix 3/4 cup applesauce with 1 bottle (4.12 oz.)
ground Cinnamon to form a stiff dough. Roll out to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with cookie
cutters. Make hole in top of ornament with skewer or straw for ribbon. Carefully lay
ornaments on rack to dry. Let air dry 1-2 days or until thoroughly dry, turning
occasionally. Makes 12 sweet smelling ornaments.
Chili Brie in Sourdough
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon (5 gr) McCormick Chili Powder
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 gr) McCormick dry ground Mustard
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 gr) McCormick Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 gr) sugar
1 round loaf (1 pound) (0.455 kg) sourdough bread
1 wheel Brie Cheese - 8 ounces (228.56 gr)
1 tablespoon (15 gr) softened butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine spices and sugar; set aside. Cut circle in top of bread
and remove bread center to make room for the Brie.
2. Spread butter in bread; sprinkle with 2 tsp. spice mixture. With knife, make 2-inch cuts
around edge of bread at 1-inch intervals.
3. Remove rind from Brie and place in bread. Sprinkle Brie with remaining spice. Replace
top of bread. Bake on baking sheet 20-30 min. To serve, remove bread top and break into
bite size pieces. Dip bread pieces in hot Brie.

Serves 8-10.
Warm Cranberry Punch
Ingredients:
1 bottle (64 ounce) (1828.48 gr) cranberry juice cocktail
2 cans (12 ounce) (342.84 gr) frozen lemonade concentrate
4 cups (1100 ml) water
3 McCormick Cinnamon Sticks
8 McCormick Whole Cloves
1 teaspoon (5 gr) McCormick Ground Allspice
1/4 teaspoon (1.25 gr) McCormick Ground Ginger
1/4 teaspoon (1.25 gr) McCormick Ground Nutmeg
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Remove whole spices before serving.
Garnish with orange slices, if desired.

Makes 15 (1 cup) servings
