Recipe: Miyako shrimp sauce

Miyako shrimp sauce

Shrimp sauce, may be used to enhance the flavor of other seafood; in particular, along with chili soy, and lemon, to enhance grilled shrimp.

SHRIMP SAUCE

1/2 egg, beaten, or equivalent of a pasteurized egg product
2 tablespoons Japanese yellow cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons Japanese mustard sauce
1 tablespoon dried white seaweed
1 1/2 teaspoons miso paste

Mix all ingredients, then combine in a blender until creamy. Store refrigerated.
