Potato Kugel

6 med potatoes
1 onion
3 eggs
1/2 t salt
3/4 cup flour dash of white pepper
4 T shortening or oil

Grate raw pared pot., squeeze out excess liquid and
grate onion into the pulp.Add eggs, salt and as much flour as needed
to make a batter that will drop from the spoon. Heat shortening or oil and fold into the batter. Turn batter into greased baking dish. Bake 30 to 40 min. at 375 F or till nicely browned and crisp at the edges.

Serves 4-6
