Recipe: Snow Peas with Shrimp

Hi Mark,
I'm not entirely sure of exactly what your looking for, so thought I'd post this, hope it helps. This is from Sunset-Stir Fry Cookbook.
Snow Peas with Shrimp
Cooking Sauce (recipe follows)
3 tablespoons salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1 pound medium-sized raw shrimp, shelled and devined
1 1/2 cups Chinese pea pods (also called snow or sugar peas) or sugar snap peas, ends and strings removed; or 1 package (6 oz.) frozen Chinese pea pods, thawed and drained
1 can (about 8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
2 or 3 green onions (including tops), thinly sliced
Prepare Cooking Sauce and set aside
Place a wok over high heat; when wok is hot, add oil. When oil is hot, add garlic and shrimp and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Add pea pods and stir-fry for about 3 minutes (30 seconds if using frozen pea pods). Add water chestnuts and onions; stir to mix. Stir Cooking Sauce and add; stir until sauce boils and thickens nad shrimp turn pink. Makes 4 servings.
Cooking Sauce:
Stir together 1 teaspoon cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger. Stir in 2 tablespoons each soy sauce and dry sherry and 1/2 cup regular strenght chicken broth.
