Recipe(tried): Taco Dip in French Bread Loaf
Appetizers and Snacks1 lb. hot sausage, browned & drained
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
8 oz. sour cream
8 0z. cream cheese, softened
1 small can chopped green chilies
1 loaf French Bread
Mix all ingredients together well and place in hollowed out bread loaf. Reserve @ 1/2 cup cheese for topping. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly. Top with remaining cheese and continue baking until cheese is melted. Serve with tortilla chips or anything appropriate for dipping!
This is ALWAYS a huge hit at parties. Usually people end up eating the bread too! Just don't look at the fat content!
