re: about raisins in jam

I just posted about making the jam with the recipe and I don't like raisins that well either. Didn't like the thought of large raisins in my jam. So I just put them in with the apples and put them in my food processor till they were well chopped, like applesauce. As I didn't want to chomp into large chunks of apples either. I like smoother jams not preserves anyway. But the results were great. Would make an excellent topping for vanilla icecream!
