Re: Recipe for a Happy Family Reunion
Misc. You are most welcome, Anita. My aunt told me about the Foxfire books that chronicle the early foods and stories of Appalachian life. I believe the original books came from accounts of life in Georgia. You can do a Internet search to learn more about them. I applaud your efforts to share your wonderful memories with your own children and grandchildren.
May your searches lead you to happy places and, hopefully, back again to us. Your post made my day.
