Recipe: No-Bake Oatmeal Gelatin Cookies

NO-BAKE OATMEAL GELATIN COOKIES

1 (3 oz) pkg Jello strawberry gelatin
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp Karo light corn syrup
1 tbsp butter or margarine
3/4 cup Quaker quick-cooking oats, uncooked
3/4 cup coconut
1/4 cup chopped nutmeats (walnuts, etc.)

Combine gelatin powder, sugar, milk, salt and syrup in medium size saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to soft ball stage, 236 degrees F.

Remove from heat, stir in butter or margarine, oatmeal, coconut and nuts. Drop immediately by tablespoon onto waxed paper. Cool. Store in airtight container.
