Recipe: Whipped Cream Waldorf Salad

You could double this - it is delicious.

Waldorf Salad (if you're on a diet, don't go here...)

2 c. diced apples
1 c. of chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

1/4 c. real mayonnaise
1 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
dash salt
1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped

Combine apple, celery and nuts in bowl.
Blend sugar, mayonnaise,lemon juice and
salt. Fold into whipped cream. Fold this
mixture into salad, chill. Serves 6.

Variations: add 1 c. seedless grapes and
1/2 c. chopped Asian pears - double dressing
recipe.

Add 1 can chopped water chestnuts.

Add 1 c. colored miniature marshmallows.

Serves about 6.
