ISO: lithuanian pierogis

Misc.

my lithuanian grandmother used to make what she called 'pierogis' but the potato was part [not all] of the dough & the filling was ground meat with onions. although she was lithuanian, she spoke several other languages fluently and a lot of the names she gave us weren't lithuanian, although i suspect much of the cooking was. she passed away several years ago, but the other problem with her cooking is that she measured everything with her hands, so nothing was written down. can someone help?
