Recipe(tried): Lithuanian Pierogie Recipe (Vettatini) (filled with ground beef and onion)

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
My father-in-law (from Lithuania) made pierogies, but they called them 'Vettatini'. They are like a pierogie, but they are filled with ground beef and onions and then after boiling, they are fried in a skillet with butter and more chopped onions.

NOODLE DOUGH:
3 1/2 cups of flour
1 egg
1 cup of water
a pinch of salt

Mix until ball is formed, roll and cut in pierogie sized circles.

FILLING:
ground Beef
quartered slices of onions

Boil until they float and then for about 3 more minutes.

Fry in butter and onions.

SURE TO PLEASE!!!
