ISO: Recipes by year dating back to 1910
Misc. When I joined Recipe Link, I had stumbled on a page where I could access recipes by year that dated back to circa 1910. Since I joined, I can not find that page again anywhere on this site.
I'm currently in the process of compiling a recipe scrapbook and desperately need OLD recipes. The scrapbook I'm working on is for my personal use, and the reason I want old recipes is due to 4 (1") 3 ring binders that I once owned. At the age of 15 I began actively collecting recipes. It began as a requirement for a semester of a home economics class that I was taking. But when that semester was over, I continued collecting and organizing recipes. I averaged 1 binder per year of high school. I was raised by my grandparents, and my grandmother loved that I had such an interest in cooking and recipes, so she gave me her clipped recipes that she had collected for many decades. These recipes, as well as recipes from ladies at my church, recipes copied from old church cookbooks, recipes copied from cookbooks checked out at libraries, etc. all went into these binders. When I got married in 1998, I was working on my 5th binder. My collecting and filing of recipes slowed after the birth of my oldest son in 1999 and during the pregnancy of my youngest son in 2000. My youngest son was born in January of 2001 and 2 weeks later my home burned to the ground, ALL of my recipe collections and purchased cookbooks, EVERYTHING was gone. Now both of my boys are teenagers and I'm desperately trying to recover as much as I can of what I lost to put into new scrapbooks. If anyone knows where I can find that archive list, I'd greatly appreciate it.
