ISO: soft anise cookie or biscuit

Misc.
I used to work at a latte stand in Bellevue WA. We served a cookie type thing that was mounded, made with anise. It was almost like a once baked biscotti but round like a cookie and about 1 1/2 inches high. Anyone know of these?
