Thank You: Pumpkin Stew

Misc.
Thanx for the Pumpkin Stew recipe. It sounds delicious.

I live in a city that is completely surrounded by farmland (no urban sprawl.) I do not have a garden of my own since there is so much grown in the countryside.
Pumpkins seem to be very plentiful this time of year and you see fields of them. I have several given to me for free every year. Sorry I can't be of any help with your attempts to grow them.

Good luck. Apparently they sustained the early settlers and I have read the writings of one of these pioneers complaining about how weary they were of eating pumpkin day after day!
