Hi Mary Jo~

One suggestion for you is to do a search here on The Recipe Link using the word "kids." You will find multiple recipes previously posted that were suggested as especially good. Recipes that are loved by kids have been the topic of a couple of daily food chats. Be sure you look at all the recipes in those chats.
