Cheese straws

Misc.

I have frozen cheese-stuffed dates before (date stuffed with a roasted pecan and wrapped in cheese straw pastry) after they were baked and they did beautifully. I have heard that with cheese straws you can bake them, let cool completely and freeze. When ready to serve, briefly crisp in a hot oven. Although I would be of a mind to think that you may not even need to reheat them. Good luck!
