More on the Sour Cream

Misc.
Hi,

Thanks all for the suggestion!

(1)I have tried to use the yoghurt and only to find the one I bought was a "low fat" version (coz i don't understand the Malay wording!) Anyway, it was too watery for my banana cake, which I always baked for Chris while we were still living in Australia. (The recipe can be found in the "Cake Bible".) I will try to "drain" teh whey out next time to see if it works.

(2)Also, we are both very disapponited at the result as it taste so artificial due to the vanilla FLAVOR. There is no natural vanilla essence here at all. I guess that I will wait until I go to visit Kaula Lumper to see if I can purchase some over there. Our taste buds have been spoilt by all the wonderful natural stuff in Australia. It is ratehr difficult for us to get used to all these artificial flavoring.

I think I may try to use the lemon juice solution. By the way, all teh lemon sold here are GREEN!!! I really can't believe it!
Thanks again!
