I looked at the calendar a couple days ago and nearly fainted! This week is full of trips to town, today we had one to the north 40 miles, then back past the turnoff to home and 90 more miles south! Friday is the only day with no errands then Monday we go stay with my Father for 4 days while DH attends a conference. That leaves about 2 1/2 weeks for getting ready for the exchange and Thanksgiving is in there somewhere! We are going to my sister-in-laws for that, I'm taking deserts and yams. Think I'm behind this year in getting the exchange planned. T%oday and tomorrow (after errands) I have to get the meatballs and chicken wings made and into the freezer plus finish printing up the cookie exchange instructions to send to the participants (around 30 of them!)The day after the exchange we are off to another conference for DH. I plan to spend THAT week relaxing. OH, and yes, I STILL have to find that PERFECT cookie recipe!
