Please enjoy those beautiful leaves on my behalf, Judy!

Misc.
If I drive further out into the Fraser Valley, I think there are leaves to enjoy. But here, there is precious little...my blueberries turn colour, and I have heard of people who plant them, just for that; never mind the fruit!

I remember even enjoying the leaves on the Don Valley Parkway in T.O. They made even a slow commute enjoyable!

Out here, we have many plants and bushes that stay green all through the winter months (outside). I remember when I first visited, I was stunned to realise the honking huge hedge I was looking at was a dracaena...something we nurse along inside our houses out east, and here was a whole HUGE hedge of it, green all year long. And people go bonkers for Rhodos and azaleas. I have one very large and old rhodo, but it is kind of late bloomer, in June. And it seems every June it really gets to raining, and my rhodo blooms, then gets drenched. And looks icky. So rhodos are not my fave!

Maybe in a couple of weeks I will take a drive out to the Valley...I've got the urge, now, just talking about it. And I don't know if my husband has ever seen the leaves!

Enjoy!

Carolyn!
