Hi Louise,
just wondering if you meant ideas for the party/theme, or recipe ideas? My cousin's husband LOVES super-heros, so for thier wedding shower cake topper I took a really cute picture of them from Halloween and had the photo place glue it to a thin sheet of foam and took a pen knife and intricately cut around it. It turned out so cute, and everyone loved it! You could do it with a special funny picture of them, or even one of thier wedding photos.
Also, since it's a "roast", you could have everyone invited recall an embarrassing or funny moment one of the couple had and really roast them! You could even get every bad picture (including that last 5th grade picture their Grandma kept all these years) and put them up on a posterboard leading up to their wedding.
