Bridal shower/roast ideas

A friend and myself are planning a shower for another friend who recently married. We thought it would be fun and unique to "roast" her. It will be a Saturday afternoon and we will serve cocktail sandwiches, pasta salad and deserts as well as wine, non-alcoholic punch and tea and coffee. Anyone have any other ideas to help us put this together? Anything goes with this group! We do want to keep it casual and fun but want it to be special as well. I need help soon!
