Recipe(tried): Baby Shower ideas

Misc.
For food, I would go super simple. Remember everything will be eaten balanced on napkins on knees, so nothing too messy. For games, I like the baby food tasting and the clothes pin best. For the baby food tasting, you buy an assortment of different flavors, maybe 8 or so, some easy, like bananas and some harder like creamed corn or some of the meats. Everyone gets a paper plate with little blobs of baby food spread around like an artists palate. Each one is numbered. Remember to number the jars so you know which is which though. The person with the most right wins. My other favorite is the clothes pin game. This is a good one to get people interacting with each other, even if they have just met. At the beginning of the shower, give each guest a clothes pin to clip onto themselves in a prominent location. They are not allowed to cross their legs. If you catch someone crossing their legs, you get to take her clothes pin(s). This is very funny. You don't realize how natural it is to sit that way until you can't. At the end of the shower, the person with the most clothes pins wins. Hope this helps and congratulations!
