Recipe(tried): 50's party games ideas

The first thing I thought of was hoola hoops, you could easily make a game out of them. either tossing or actual hoola hooping. Some sort of sock hop/ car hop game. On the food front you could go with the drive in car hop theme, burgers fries hot dogs, milk shakes. Or I think TV dinners would be fun? Hope that helps have a fun time sounds like a great theme to build on. Enjoy, Joan
