Recipe: Allen's Signature White Chili (using cooked chicken)

ALLEN'S SIGNATURE WHITE CHILI

1 large onion, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp. garlic powder)
1 tablespoon oil
2 cans (15 1/2 oz. each) Allens Great Northern Beans, undrained
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 cups diced cooked chicken breast
TO SERVE:
3 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
salsa
sour cream
tortilla chips

Saute onion, bell pepper and garlic in oil until tender.

Add beans, broth, seasonings and chicken and simmer 15-20 minutes.

Serve topped with grated cheese, salsa, sour cream and crushed tortilla chips.

Note: Substitute fat-free cheese and sour cream for a low-fat, nutritious meal.
