You're right, the recipe for Grape Nuts Bread makes a 1 1/2 lb loaf.
Bread machine loaf size - maximum flour + dry ingredients:
1 pound - 2 to 2 1/2 cups
1 1/2 pound - 3 to 3 1/2 cups
2 pound - 4 to 4 1/2 cups
