Recipe(tried): Broccoli Cheese Soup like TGI Fridays

4 cups chicken broth
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup half-and-half
1 cup water
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. dehydrated diced onion
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
12 slices Velveeta cheese
4 cups chopped broccoli
Combine all ingredients except broccoli in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring so it doesn't stick to bottom of the pan.
Turn heat to medium and add broccoli; cook until tender.
The sauce wasn't quite thick enough for me so I whisked in some Wondra (more flour would have probably worked also). This is the greatest match by far. Awesome on a reheat also.
