CHERRY LIME SHERBET
1 (3 oz) pkg. lime gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 (6 oz) can frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
Dash salt
1 quart milk
1 pint half-and-half
8 drops green food coloring optional
In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Add sugar, limeade and salt; mix until sugar is dissolved. Add remaining ingredients; blend well.
Freeze in an ice cream machine according to manufacturer's directions.
Makes about 2 quarts
