Recipe(tried): Frozen Garlic
Misc.I see that this request was posted back in 2009 but someone may still be interested in my reply. I have a garlic press that does a wonderful job. It's a hard plastic affair with a container attached that catches the tiny grains of garlic. Works way better that the other types of presses. I buy a whole pack of garlic bulbs & I peal them & put them through this press. Then I put them in a ziplock plastic bag & squeeze out all the air & then place in a heavy duty ziplock bag so the odor stays inside the bags & I freeze it. For months I have pressed garlic handy. It doesn't freeze in a hard block so it's easy to crumble off what I need for a recipe. It's just as fresh as when first I froze it.
