Recipe(tried): Hot Fudge Cake (for crockette)

Desserts - Cakes
I thought this was the most bizarre thing.
but then i ate it all with a spoon out of the crockette. (took me a day or so..but it was worth it yummy)

HOT FUDGE SUNDAE CAKE

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 sugar
1 tbls baking cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
1 tbls vegetable oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
[1/4 cup chopped nuts]

6 tbls cup packed brown sugar
2 tbls cocoa
3/4 cups hot water

PREP
Grease crockette

DIRECTIONS
Mix flour, sugar, 1 tbls cocoa, baking powder and salt in bowl.
Stir in milk, oil and vanilla until smooth. Stir in nuts.
Spread batter evenly in slow cooker.

Mix brown sugar and 2 tbls cup cocoa in small bowl.
Stir in hot water until smooth.
Pour evenly over batter in crock.

Cover and cook on high 2 - 2 1/2 hours
or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Turn off crock.
Let cake stand uncovered 30 - 40 minutes* to cool slightly before serving.

Spoon warm cake into dessert dishes.
Spoon sauce over top.

*If you let the cake cool in the crock before serving it, the sauce under the cake will thicken to a good consistency.
