NESTLE'S CHOCOLATE COCONUT KISSES FROM 1940
1 (7 oz) Nestle's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon flour
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup shredded coconut
Cut chocolate into pieces the size of a pea.
Sift sugar and flour together.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually sprinkle sugar and flour mixture over egg whites and continue beating. Add vanilla, chocolate and coconut. Mix together. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 500 degrees F - 10 minutes or until light brown in color. Allow cookies to cool slightly before removing from sheet.
