Recipe: Popper-Stuffed Burgers
SandwichesPOPPER-STUFFED BURGERS
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup chunky salsa
4 frozen Poppers (jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese or Cheddar cheese)
TO SERVE:
1/4 cup prepared salsa con queso dip
4 hamburger buns
Heat grill to medium.
Mix beef and salsa in a large bowl; divide into four portions. Wrap each portion around a stuffed Popper, forming a ball, then flatten each ball into a patty.
Grill over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes for medium doneness, or longer to your degree of doneness.
TO SERVE:
Spread 1 Tablespoon salsa con queso over each burger. Place burgers in buns. Serve with more salsa, if desired.
Servings: 4
