Recipe: Pritikin's Bar-b-que Sauce

Misc.

I have found one recipe that you can use to make your Sugar Free Bar-B-Que
Sauce. I have not tried this one before. But when I make my own bar-b-que
sauce, I use apple concentrate juice and hickory flavoring and tomato juice
instead of the other fattening or salty ingredients. I got this sauce from a
Pritikin Cookbook hope this is what you are looking for.

Also have you tried Stevia in place of sugar?

Pritikin's Bar-B-Que Sauce
(Makes 1 1/2 Cups)

1 - 24 oz. can V-8 juice
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. onion powder
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. powdered ginger
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. dried parsley

Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan. Heat to a boil, and then simmer
stirring occasionally, until enough moister has evaporated that the sauce is
thickened sufficiently. If possible, refrigerate overnight before using.
