Recipe: Roasting Turkey in a Roaster Oven (and Nesco Roaster Oven manual)

Dear Yvonne,

Regarding your question, you don't need to add water to the bottom of the roaster when roasting turkey but you can spray the roaster insert with cooking spray for easier cleaning. There will eventually be juices and drippings from the turkey in the roaster as it cooks. Water may be added if you'd like a more steamed effect.
