Recipe(tried): Spaghetti Bake Last Night

Menus

I made this last night to take to our weekly dinner and it was a big hit. I also made a spinach salad with mandarin oranges, toasted sliced almonds, green onions and celery with a poppyseed dressing.

SPAGHETTI BAKE

2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. onions, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large jar spaghetti sauce (I used Newman's, but use any kind you like)
12 oz. spaghetti, broken into quarters
4 Tbsp. margarine
3-1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. water
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1-1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese

Brown ground beef, onions and garlic. Drain off excess grease. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Rinse and drain. Mix spaghetti with meat sauce. Melt margarine and stir in flour and salt. Add evap. milk and water. Cook over medium heat until slightly thick. Add 2 c. Mozzarella and parmesan. Stir until melted. Spread 1/2 the spaghetti in 9x13" pan. Spread all the cheese sauce over. Top with remaining spaghetti mixture. Top with 1-1/2 c. Mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
