Recipe: Theme Luncheon ideas
Holidays, CelebrationsADVERTISEMENT
Hi Claire ~
Here are a few theme luncheon ideas I have (off the top of my head)...
how about each guest picking a recipe from a specific time period (1950s, 1960s, 1970s, etc. -- you decide which dates)
or each guest brings a dish that is made with 3 or fewer ingredients (or 4 or fewer) etc.
or each person must bring a dish that one of the ingredients is an item that begins with specific letter of the alphabet (you decide on the letter)
or foods that must be eaten with your fingers
or each guest could bring a dish that "if I was stranded on a deserted island, this is what I could eat forever"
or each guest could bring a dish that can be prepared from begining to end in ___ minutes or less (maybe 30 minutes)
Be sure each guest brings copies of the recipes they used to this luncheon to share. This does sound like great fun!
Hope this helps. Let us know how your luncheon goes. We can all benefit from your party.
