ISO: need an idea for a theme luncheon

Misc.
Hi everyone-

I'm having a group of 12 people for lunch next week and am looking for a good/interesting theme. (we have an ongoing group that meets once monthly and take turns hosting) I'll make the main course and ask each of my guests to contribute something (appetizers, salad, bread, vegetables, dessert, wine, etc.) Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Claire
