Recipe(tried): vinegar Fizz (vintage recipe)
BeveragesI grew up with vinegar fizz. It was something my grandmother used with all us grandkids. It was simply water (1/3 cup) and bit of sugar. You mix the sugar up til the water is nice and sugary and then you just pop in a pinch (maybe 1/3 teaspoon) of baking soda and stir quickly and gulp it down. You gotta be quick because the foam doesn't last long and the foam is what you want. It settles your stomach. I have used it my entire life and taught my kids. As a kid we used to have "sleep overs" and have belching contests using vinegar fizzes. Ah, the good times.
