ISO: navy bean and ham soup

does anyone have a recipe for navy bean and ham soup? i was just in vegas and had a delicious bowl of it at a little diner and it only had navy beans and chunks of ham in it and was really creamy. (it didn't have any tomatoes, or chilles or carrots in it at all) thanks for your help. Barb
