ISO: Special Christmas Dessert

I am going to prepare dessert for an afternoon ladies club meeting on December 14. There will be about 20 to 25 in attendance. I would like it to be something special. I am thinking of Red Velvet Cake but would like other suggestions. I truly enjoy this site and have used it many times with great results. Thanks for you help!
