ISO: Using Peaches in Apple Butter and Apple Pie Filling Recipes?

Misc.
I need one more small bit of information. I have a couple of recipes that I use for apples in the fall, one is for apple pie filling and the other is for apple butter(crockpot). Could I substitute peaches in those and work them up the same way? Thanks for all the help.
